Dainty Doll by Nicola Roberts Powder and Cream Blush

Being a pale skinned gal myself I actually remember a few years ago being very excited when this range came out. A whole make up line aimed at paler skin types meant choosing your make up would be foolproof . My local Boots stocked the brand, and I've purchased a thing or two from there in the past but I found it to be a little on the expensive side. When these popped up on Fragrance Direct - The site I get almost all my make up from, for a bargain £1.99 I couldn't wait to give them a go!

004 You Are My Sunshine -  This shade is the typical kind of blush I go for. Its a pretty pinky peach that has the perfect amount of gold shimmer in to give your cheeks a lovely glow and a fresh flush of colour. The formula is nice and soft, easy to blend and has minimal fallout and applies as well as any high end blusher would. One quick sweep with a blush brush is all you need for a healthy glow, but its also buildable for those who like to make more of an impact with their blush. You Are My Sunshine is a great all-rounder and will suit all skin tones.

002 My Girl - Is a perfectly pastel pink, that gives a delightful English Rose look to paler skin types. It's a lot more cooler toned than You Are My Sunshine, and may be suitable for darker skin tones. On the cheeks this adds a fresh and innocent pop of pink, that looks natural and very pretty. Again this is rich in pigment, and you will only need a quick sweep across your cheeks for the right amount.

Orange County Girl 002 - This really is the star of the show! A cream formula blush that blends like a dream and sits beautifully on the skin. It's a similar shade to You Are My Sunshine, but offers a beautiful  glow that's beyond perfect for brightening up your Spring make up. I am so impressed with this product, it's one of the best cream blushers I have ever tried! And would highly recommend. Its lasts well on the skin, which is a problem I have had in the past with other cream blushes.

Overall, I am really really impressed with Dainty Doll's blushers and will be buying a few more shades so I can stock up whist they're still around. They are currently only £1.99 on Fragrance Direct, saving you £11.51, this is something you don't want to miss out on.
