This year MUA have released some seriously amazing products, giving their more expensive high street contenders a run for their money. What started off with just £1 lipstick and some pretty standard eye shadows, has now easily turned into one of my favourite bargain beauty brand for high end dupes and I never go into Superdrug without checking out the MUA stand. After the Clinique Chubby Sticks hit the shelves, high street brands quickly caught on to the idea of a lip balm lipstick hybrid for the woman on the go - Revlon were quick to follow with the Just Bitten Lip Stains, and brands like Soap and Glory and No7 quickly followed suit. Not long later, MUA was on the case too.Upon first glance, the MUA Power Pout looks almost identical to the Clinique or the Revlon products. Promising an intense colour tint, and a moisturising balm mix and priced at a barginous £3 (£13 less than the chubby stick) who could say no.With six colours to choose from, Rendezvous immediately caught my eye being a neutral girl through and through, a pinky nude brown, to bring out the natural shade of your own lips. Like Revlon, it has a subtle minty taste which I rather like. Applied to the lips the MUA Power Pout is very soft, with a surprising amount of pigment that lasts well on the lips. Its more pigmented than Clinique and Revlon, and actually more glossy too! When it starts to fade, your lips are left with a touch of colour from the tint.Next time I am in Superdrug, I will definitely pick up another shade - I've already got my eye on Broken Hearted.
